Diversity Statement

At the Strongsville Historical Society, we believe our history is strongest when it includes every voice.
We are dedicated to fostering a culture that values diversity in all its forms and ensures equitable access to opportunities for participation, leadership, and learning. By embracing the varied experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives of our members, volunteers, and visitors, we seek to tell a more complete story of our community’s past and to build a welcoming environment that reflects the Strongsville of today and tomorrow. We are committed to continuous learning and improvement as we honor our shared heritage and strengthen connections across our community.

Strongsville Historical Society collects, preserves, and promotes the history of the Strongsville area and its contributions to our regional and national history. We do this for our community by fostering an understanding and appreciation for our past through education, programs, and exhibits.
